We are finally into our first full month with Tiki Room Travel. Here is what we did:
Second Blog Post
We published our second blog post, 5 Disney Splurges to Elevate your Vacation, and added it to Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. We also boosted it on Facebook for the next 7 days:
- Daily Accounts Reached: 635 – 1.8K
- Daily Post Engagements: 84- 243
Again, our goal is here is to get our name out and get clients familiar with Tiki Room Travel.
- Total Spend: $35
- Post Impressions: 3,515
- Total Engagement: 574
- Link Clicks: 205!
The impressions and engagement were on the low end of estimates (as usual), but the link clicks were great!
Second Disney Meme
Our first meme wasn’t a huge success, but we will follow through and post 5 in total. Our second meme will be posted today, and boosted on Facebook for a week.
- Daily Accounts Reached: 127 – 367
- Daily Post Engagements: 17 – 49
This one worked much better than the last for some reason. Strange.
- Total Spend: $7
- Post Reach: 910
- Post Engagements: 261
Without the ad, it reached 910 more and had 261 more engagements, for a total of 497 engagements, which is great. This is encouraging enough to continue this test.
Walt Disney World 2024 Kids Play and Dine Half-Price
On November 14, a new WDW discount was released where kids ages 3 – 9 get their park passes and dining plans for half price. A pretty good discount if you have kids in that age group and plan on staying at a cheaper Disney resort, but not great, definitely not Disney Free Dining.

After the post was added to the site, it was added to Facebook and boosted for 10 days.
Third Blog Post
Our third published blog post is Why you should use Tiki Room Travel. We will boost this on Facebook like the others. I am not expecting as much of a response as the last one, but this post is important in finding new clients.

The Facebook boost ended yesterday. I was not expecting much from this, articles like this don’t get much traction, but I needed to write it.

About what I was expecting. Probably more impressions than I thought, but overall, ok.
Third Disney Meme
Back for another week trying this test. This meme was posted on Facebook today and boosted for 7 days.

- Daily Post Engagement: 15 – 44
I did something different with this one. I advertised only to Women in the US, UK and Canada, age 29 and over. Kind of a test, I felt this would appeal more to them, I guess we will see.

Definitely less impressive than last week. Keep trying!
Fourth Blog Post
Our fourth blog posts is Best Walt Disney World Rides for Teens. Just like the others, we will boost this post, and hopefully it will be more successful than the last.

The add is over, it did not do well. Oh well, move on to the next one:

- Link Clicks: 148
On the surface it didn’t do great, no comments and only 13 likes. It did however bring 148 people to the site, which is great.

External Sites
Two new external sites have been launched pointing towards Tiki Room Travel:
As with the last sites, these are older sites with a bunch of links pointing towards them, which should provide good SEO for TRT. At this point, I will probably not add any more external sites, unless I stumble across a great domain that is cheap.
